Neurodivergent Sexual/Sensual Sensitivities with Worksheets

Whether we are already in a relationship, or considering one, the experience of being intimate with another person can be challenging on more levels for a neurodivergent person than it is for a neurotypical person.

Provided below, this worksheet/checklist is for those of us who are on the autism spectrum, otherwise neurodivergent, and/or in relationship with someone who is. It provides an opportunity to explore your comfort needs in detail for being intimate with another person.

Use it to explore how to navigate sensory sensitivities with a partner and to develop an understanding of each other’s wants and needs. Consider each section as a jumping off point for fostering healthy conversation and communication.

Overall, this form helps you explore key areas, including: Sensory Sensitivity, Physical Intimacy, Emotional Intimacy, Verbal Intimacy, Sensual Intimacy, Sexual Intimacy, and a bit of Kink Exploration.

Feel free to also peruse the citations as further resources for related lists.
